The first step to becoming a Freemason is to fill out the application form and send it in for review. To become a member of this ancient and honourable fraternity, a man must apply of his own free will and accord and with an open heart. Invitations are not issued to prospective members, nor are members solicited.

APPLY TO BECOME A MASON

STEP ONE
| APPLICATION |
Once your application is received, the investigations committee will review your information and contact you for an interview. The interview will typically be conducted in your home and is casual in nature. This is your turn to ask us questions, and, of course, we will do the same of you.

STEP TWO
| INVESTIGATION |
Provided a satisfactory report is given by the investigations committee, your name will be entered in our monthly circular for all Masons across Manitoba to see and review. After a set period of time, provided no objections are put forward with regards to your character, all the members of the lodge will vote to determine the outcome of your application. Provided that the vote is unanimously in your favour, a date will be set for your initiation ceremony. You will be notified of your acceptance or denial by postal mail. Please note that you can expect this to take up to six months or, in some cases, more, to receive your letter of confirmation or denial.

STEP THREE
